Social Cultural activities:

This Committee is formed every year after the Students’ Council Elections. It consists of a Chairman, Co-chairman and a Secretary from elected class representatives and three student members in it.
The Council allots sufficient amount of funds to this committee to perform various activities during the year. The committee organizes and performs various Social and Cultural activities through out the year both in the college and outside the college.
The Committee motivates and encourages the students to participate in various activities and competitions. The students very enthusiastically come forward and participate in these events.
The Committee arranges for Musical Morning Programme in the first term. The college students enjoy Musical Morning on the college ground. The student artists sing popular songs and make the whole programme a success. Sometimes singing competitions are also organized by the committee.
The Annual Day function is organized & conducted by this committee every year. The students who have performed well (in the campus or outside the campus) are felicitated by the Guest of Honour of the function. The committee has always invited well known personalities as Guest of Honour who have appreciated and honoured brilliant stars of the college and the medal winners of the college. They have also felicitated the sportsmen who performed their best and made the name of the college.
2004 - 2005
The Students celebrated Traditional Day, Group Day, Suit & Saree Day, Festival Day, Garba Day etc. along with Kite Flying Day, Library Day, Tree Plantation Day,Charity Day, Flag Hoisting, Saraswati Vandana.etc.
The Committee held competition for Festival Day, Group Day, Suit and Saree Day etc and prizes were distributed to the winners. In University Youth Festival, the college sent about ten entries for various events which includes Group Dance,Classical Dance, Handicraft, Drawing, Short Story Writing, Classical Dance, Group Song, Monoacting, etc.
The College won 1st Prize in Group Dance in this Youth Festival, organized by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. The participants were felicitated by the university as well as by the college in Annual Day Function.
The College also arranged for a Colourful Musical Morning Programme which was enjoyed by one and all. The singers were felicitated in the Annual Day Function by the Chief Guest.
2005 - 2006
The Committee organized Musical Morning in the first term which was enjoyed by everybody. The committee also conducted a competition of Hindi Film Songs. The winners were distributed prizes in the Annual Day Function. The winners were –
1. 1st prize : Meghana Pachchigar (F.Y.B.Com)
2. 2nd prize : Mikul Shah (T.Y.B.Com)
3. 3rd prize : Binita Parekh (S.Y.B.Com)
The Students celebrated various days under the banner of this Committee. In Festival Day Competition, the following were the winners :
1. 1st prize : Diwali Celebrations
2. 2nd prize : Janmastami Celebrations
3. 3rd prize : Ganesh Chaturthy Celebrations
The Committee nominated several students to participate in the Youth Festival oraganized by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. The committee sent about eight entries in this Youth Festival like Group Songs, Classical Dance, Drawing etc. The participants performed nicely in the competition. They were felicitated by the Chief Guest in the Annual Day Function.
2006 - 2007
The Committee arranged for a cheerful Musical Morning in the first term. The programme was enjoyed by the students. Under the banner of this committee “Days” Celebration was done as usual. The students employed innovative ideas in celebrating the days. They had a wonderful performance of Harvesting. The results are as under:
1. 1st Prize : Harvesting
2. 2nd Prize : Marriage Ceremony
3. 3rd Prize : Parsi New Year
The Committee nominated several entries in the Youth Festival organized by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University like Monoacting, Group dance, Short Story Writing, Recitation of poetry, Padpurti (Completion of poetry), Group Song, Drawing, Handicrafts and Classical Dance etc.
Miss. Vaishakhi Parekh won 3rd prize in Classical Dance.
All the participants enthusiastically came forward and performed very nicely in the competitions. The Chief Guest felicitated them all in the Annual Day Function.
2007 - 2008
The Social Cultural activities in this year has the honour to state that students of this college had a great name in singing competition.
Nagardoot conducted singing competition for the college students of the city where our students participated enthusiastically and reached to the final round.
Mr. Harsh Trivedi (T.Y.B.Com) won 3rd Prize in this competition.
The committee arranged for Musical Morning on the college ground. Iscon Mall conducted another singing competition for college students of the city. The students were supposed to sing Hindi Film Songs.
Miss. Meghana Pachchigar (T.Y.B.Com) won the 1st prize.
All the days were celebrated with the same fervour by the students. There were celebrations of various days among which Traditional Day, Group Day, Suit & Saree Day are prominent. The group day competition was held by the committee and the winners performed various events and won prizes :
1. 1st prize :Marriage Ceremony
2. 2nd prize : Ganapati Visarjan
3. 3rd prize : Snake Show
Amroli College organized various competitions in their campus. The committee nominated students to participate in Monoacting, Drawing, Recitation of poetry, Essay Writing etc.
Miss.Sonal Sodawadia won the 1st prize in Essay Writing Competition.

2006 - 2007
Under the banner of this committee various activities were held round the year. Students participated in a Competition held by other colleges and institutions. Miss Bijal Desai participated in elocution competition held by “Surat Jilla Sahakari Sangh”. Students participated in various competitions like Elocution Competition, Poetry Reading etc.
Mr. Ravishankar Gupta stood first in essay competition held by Cambay Institute of Commerce apart from this students participated in essay competition held by M.K.College of commerce, Bharuch.
Navyug Campus inter college debate competition was held in our college and in this competition Dhruv Patel stood first, and Miss Yashvi Desai stood second
2007 - 2008
Inter class elocution competition was organized by this committee. On 5th September, Teacher’s Day was celebrated by students. The students taught in the class. They also played the role of Principal, Administrative Staff and Peon etc.
Various competitions were held by Amroli Arts & Commerce College, Surat in the month of August and our students were given certificates for their performance. Mr. Ravishankar Gupta stood first in essay competition held by Motapondha Arts & Commerce College in the month of September.
Mr. Ravishankar B. Gupta was selected for National Seminar held at Patna on November, 26 by C.C.S. He was the one who represented Gujarat State. Mr. Ravishankar Gupta participated in Advanced Seminar held by C.C.S. in Mumbai also.
Miss Yashvi Desai stood second in elocution competition held by Navyug Arts College named Maniben Pithawala elocution competition in the month of February. Mr. Subhas Patil stood second in elocution competition held by Chikhli Arts & Commerce College, on 2nd Nov. Mr. Ravishankar Gupta stood first in essay competition held by M.T.B. Arts College Surat in the month of January. In this competition the participants were to write an essay in Sanskrit Language.
